Caring for Your Pressed Floral Piece

Your pressed floral artwork was created with great care and craftsmanship. To ensure it remains just as beautiful for years to come, please follow these care and display guidelines.

Display Tips

  • Keep out of direct sunlight. Even though your piece is framed with Tru Vue® Conservation Clear® Glass, which filters 99% of UV rays, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can still cause natural fading over time.

  • Avoid humid areas. Moisture can affect the longevity of dried and pressed florals. We recommend displaying your piece in a dry, temperature-controlled area—avoid bathrooms, kitchens, and other humid environments.

  • Handle with care. Pressed floral art is delicate by nature. Always hold your frame by both sides and avoid touching the glass surface.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Dust gently. Wipe the glass surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth as needed. Avoid using glass cleaners, sprays, or liquids, as moisture can seep into the frame.

  • Do not open the frame. Each piece is sealed to protect the flowers from air and humidity. Opening it may cause irreversible damage.

Long-Term Preservation

  • Store or display in a space with stable temperatures (ideally 60–75°F).

  • Avoid storing in attics, basements, or garages where heat and humidity fluctuate.

  • If you move, wrap the frame in acid-free paper or tissue and transport upright to prevent shifting.

Your piece was made using museum-grade materials, including Tru Vue® Conservation Clear® Glass and acid-free matting, to protect your preserved florals from fading and deterioration. With proper care, your artwork will remain a lasting keepsake for years to come.
